Wholesaler of Organic Foods Honored

The Lane Metro Partnership and Lane Council of Governments (LCOG) awarded the Regional Award of Merit for Economic Enhancement to Hummingbird Wholesale.  Hummingbird Wholesale was honored at LCOG’s Annual Appreciation Dinner January 27.

Hummingbird Wholesale sells high quality organic bulk foods, produced from sustainable farm practices.  Their key customers are small natural health food stores from Seattle to San Francisco. They primarily provide organic bulk foods including oils, nuts, dried fruit, sweeteners, and grains, beans and seeds.  In addition, Hummingbird Wholesale manufactures two kinds of Raw Sprouted Granola and has Tahini, Almond Butter, Filbert Butter and Chocolate Filbert Butter created for them from local and regional vendors.

Hummingbird Wholesale has 20 employees and will soon move into a 16,000 square foot facility
