Board Officers Elected for Lane Metro Partnership

The Lane Metro Partnership has announced officers for the 2011 operating board. Steve Korth, Director of Real Estate and Development, McKay Investment Co., will serve as board president. Stephanie Matthews, human resources manager for Three Rivers Casino will serve as vice-president. Matt Powell, owner and general manager of Windermere Real Estate/Lane County will serve as secretary/treasurer. Joseph McKinney, president of Oregon Roads, Inc. was elected as a new member of the board of directors. Continuing board directors include John Brown, a real estate broker with Evans, Elder and Brown, Inc., Art Clark a partner with Hershner Hunter, Shaun Hyland vice-president of John Hyland Construction, Robin Burk, vice-president, US Bancorp, and Sue Slaughter-Nichols, human resources information administrator for Northwest Community Credit Union.
The Lane Metro Partnership is a non-profit organization that fosters economic development to help create a more diverse and stable economy. The Operating Board includes representatives from the cities of Eugene and Springfield, Lane County Board of Commissioners, University of Oregon, Lane Community College, Lane Workforce Network and numerous private businesses.
